Today was pretty shit.
Work wasn't fun at all. I didn't want to be there.
Went for lunch at Europa in town with Kat. Was pretty good. Afterwards, sat in Starbucks for ages just people watching. It's really funny how you always seem to spot at least one person you know while you're sitting at the window.
Going out with a guy from work (Matt) tomorrow. We're gonna grab some lunch then go see something at the Comedy Festival. Should be cool. Laughter would be nice.
I read a bit more of the book Karen gave me. It's called Nightwood. It's extremely difficult to read. One of those books that make you feel a bit stupid because you need to read it sloooowly. I'm gonna check out the synopsis somewhere, to see if that gives me a better idea of what the hell is going on.
Speaking of which, how the hell will I ever return the book to her?
